1.) Driving 1.) DRIVING From Orange County: 2.) Coming From LAX Rental Cars Rental cars - If you want our advice, L.A. is made for people with cars, and you might want to consider renting one. If you haven't arranged for one by the time you get here, look for the Car rental agency desks located in the Baggage Claim area. There are 40 rental car companies that operate out of LAX, with vehicle rental sites located off the airport. Rental car companies have phones in the Lower/Arrival Level area near baggage claim where you can request a shuttle pick up to reach your rental car site. Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, Fox/Payless, National, Thrifty You can find their shuttles under the purple sign "Rental Car Shuttles" on the Lower/Arrival level islands outside baggage claim. Taxis - If you have the means, there are more cabs than you can handle at curb outside Baggage Claim. They're expensive, though. Airport Shuttles - The airport shuttles can get you where you're going, or at least close to it. Exit the Baggage Claim to curb street exit. Once you're outside look for the Red sign for Shared Ride Shuttles (Supershuttle, Flyaway, Primetime, or the Green sign for Buses and Long Distance Vans, Airport Bus). SuperShuttle - They take you door to door. $31 per person one way ( $9 each addtl person). Primetime Shuttle - They take you door to door. $28 per person one way. Flyaway Shuttle - Takes you to either Westwood, Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles, or Van Nuys. Once there, you need to figure out the rest of your journey depending on where you're staying. So theoretically, you could be dropped off at Union Station by the Flyaway shuttle and then take the Metro Gold Line (L.A.'s version of light rail) to the Lake Street Station, 1.2 miles south of the venue. Look for Metro for more information - $7 per person one way ($5/person for Westwood) Metro (Public Transportation) - L.A.'s version of public transportation, Metro (or MTA) uses a combination of buses, vans, subways and light rail. Depending on where you're going, if you really want to go with public transportation, you can plan your trip with Metro's website: There's a free shuttle service to the Metro Rail Green Line Aviation Station. You can find it by waiting under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections blue sign, and board the "G" Shuttle. 3.) If you haven't arranged for one by the time you get here, look for the Car rental agency desks Car rental counters are located in Terminal B. The rental car companies have courtesy shuttles that pick-up and drop-off directly in front of the terminal. If you have another rental car companies you need to contact them using the Ground Transportation boards telephone found in the baggage claim areas of each terminal to arrange your pick-up. Taxis - If you have the means, there are more cabs than you can handle at curb outside Baggage Claim. They're expensive, though. Airport Shuttles - The airport shuttles can get you where you're going. Shuttle van service and taxi cabs are located on the pedestrian islands immediately in front of the Bob Hope Airport passenger terminal, SuperShuttle - They take you door to door. $23 per person one way ( $9 each addtl person). Primetime Shuttle - They take you door to door. $21 per person one way. http://www.metro.net/ Metrolink and Amtrak have a combined station within walking distance of the main Burbank terminal and runs to Union Station (Downtown Los Angeles) where you can catch the Gold Line to the Lake Street Station, 1.2 miles south of the venue. This train only runs Monday-Friday.
